Pastor Chas and Marion have been married for 41 years and have a daughter Joanne and a son David, who is married to Louise. They also have three grandchildren, Melody, Benjamin and Noah.
Chas and Marion have led the Church since January 1996 and both have a heart, vision and desire to see people come to know Jesus in a real way and experience His life changing power in their lives. They both have a passion for God and a passion for the people of Spalding.
Marion works within The Lighthouse Project as Senior Manager and is also a Trustee of the Church along with Don Robbins and Keith Davies.
Don and Sue are married and have a son called Joel who is now in senior school in Spalding. Don works locally in a car showroom and Sue works as an administrator in the local hospital.
Don became a Christian when God healed him of a disc lesion and changed his whole life. Sue has been a Christian for thirty years plus and came to know the Lord through a friend at school.
Both Don and Sue have actively been involved within the Children’s work at the Church for many years. Don is a Trustee and also the Church Treasurer and Sue supports him with the accounts. Sue also jointly leads the over 60′s group.
Keith has been an Elder in the Church since 1987 and has served in this capacity supporting and serving God faithfully through the years. He is married to Irene and works as a self-employed builder.
Keith became a Christian through Don Robbins. He is heavily involved in Church Ministry and works alongside his wife Irene in the outreach work through the Agape Care Drop-in-Cafe. Keith has been, and still is involved in much of the Church building work as this arises.
David along with his wife Louise run the youth and children works, David has a heart to see the youth of Spalding come to know Christ as their personal saviour. David is also an active member of the Youth alive Network in Midlands helping organised events which bring young people from different areas together to learn more about God and to mix with other young people.
Jenny oversees the running of the church building ensuring that all aspects are covered. in addition Jenny runs the 20 & 30 Network which is aimed at engaging young adults in getting deeper with God and having a firm foundation in the faith. Jenny also runs the Lighthouse project which includes the Karis house project for young ladies with life controlling issues.
Irene runs the church’s social outreach Agape Care along with Keith. Irene actively seeks to help those who come in contact with Agape to get the aid they need to improve their lives. She activly goes to churchs and school to share the work of Agape.
Emma heads up the church’s mission area bring a new focus through out the year highlighting the Missions the church supports, Emma work for Samaritans Purse UK. Emma also runs the Sound and visual department with in the church and her husband Darren works within Agape Care.
We as a church believe in equipping the next generation of leaders for the work of the kingdom. We have develop the probationary leaders role to allow people to see the working of the church in different areas from main services on Sundays to work behind the scenes.
Charlotte is a train children’s nurse in a local hospital and works as a support worker within Karis house. As a probationary leader Charlotte works along side Jenny in helping maintain the church building and decorating it and helps run the 20 & 30 Network. She is also part of the sound team and helps run one of our life groups.
Gemma works for Karis House as a support worker. Gemma works in the youth department she heads up the schools outreach previously working within a local grammar school support a Christian union within the school. Gemma has unique way of connecting with young people from all walks of life. Gemma also helps lead a life group for the church in Boston.
Dale is a trained adult nurse at a local hospital. Dale works within the youth team heading up sound and tech and cooks for the after schools club on a Friday. Within the church Dale helps keep the church website updated and works on the sound team. he also seeks funding streams for the work the church does through grants and fundraising avenues.
